first time grower, help plz?

hey, im a firts time grower, i got about 40 seeds off of a bag of baby dro i bought. i currently have two of the plants having their roots and the starting of the first leaves, and 10 more that are just starting to get the roots, i have them in a bag right now getting around 10-12 hours of sunlight, sitting on a damp napkin. i plan on planting them outside, and where i live, it gets around 70-90 degrees from june till september. i will have 12 plants total. i dont really plan on giving them much other then the daily watering. how much can i get off of all 10 plants? i was thinking around 3-5lb of bud to sell, and keeping the other two plants for myself to smoke. but i wanted to know about how much i could get off of ten plants. thanks.

Depends on how well you take care of them and how big they get. I have 8 plants right now that I plan to get 2 lbs off of outdoors. GL with your grow

thanks, and whats better to have, male or female plants? i've heard that getting females are better, and if i get any, what should i do with them? plant them farther away from the males? or what?

You sound like quite a novice ,lol.You might be better checking out the FAQ'S section.

If you get any males rip em out cause you'll have no use for them.

... but my local downtown growyoda's opinion on what my maximum yeild is going to be needs be mentioned.

"What light ya got?"

"600w Sunblaster HPS being driven by a Lumatek ballast, covering an area of approximately 3x3', approximately 14-16" from top of canopy..."

"Never mind all that. Ya got 600w? You're not going to get anything more than 600 grams in the end."

"Yeah, but ____, I'm doing LST and ..." (cut off yet again)

"You're still only going to get as much bud as you have light, no matter what you're doing..."

Sigh. Talking to the man is sometimes like talking to a fuckin' brick wall. A brick wall that cuts you off. I think the problem is that he's been doing it so long, he's kinda set in his ways, and even tho he grows good stuph, it ain't quite the /best/ in the neighbahood, if yo' kno' wha' ah mean. Even though he is doing what should be indoor dirt connoisseur grow, with Co2 enhancement, full enviro control, totally up to code, with a SHMITPILE of fucking lights.

In my humble little space, I am getting the same lumens-per-square-foot he is, AND I'm tending my plants a lot more in veg. So....

But he might be right. If I keep heatstressing out the lil' girls, he might be. I do NOT want him to be right, so I'm doing me goddamn best to max my yield, so that when the time comes, I can slap my lightsabre down on the table and ask... "Hey ____... wanna guess how much more I wound up with than you thought I would?... how many TIMES more...? Because LST works, ya ole ****er..."

I am soooo looking forward to taking care o' my lil girls tonight...

Wow. Am I ranting? This Cheese I've been smoking in downtown TO has totally crept up on me... Ahhhh.....

ya like i said, im a first time grower, i know how to do everything, growing, manicuring, drying, curing and selling. i just would like to know a little more about how much bud im gonna be getting. and if anyone knows, out of ten plants using the leaves and stems how much hash i could make? i know how to make it. im hoping for about 1-2oz of hash from it. but idk.:smokin:

Well man if you dont know that a male does not make buds only pollen, then you really need to do some reading. If you have 10 plants you would be lucky to have all 10 be female.

Also you get males just give them the chop or your buds will be full of seeds also you might not wanna count ya chickens before they hatch how much bud you get depends on lots of things sun/soil ect ect just keep them heathy looking and weed out the males and then you can worrie about yield.

Well Son, i will tell ya something you know nothing about and that is this sight. First of all it is against the rules to talk to about selling weed on this site. Or, give advise to people who sell. You are the fungus we growers want to remove from our planet. Why dont ya go back to face book and get your info, cuz no one will help you here.
