I wish I could show documentation on the resistance, but i've only heard whisperings of it, and seen it IRL on a friends grow. The mites popped up, he put the hot shots strip in there, and it killed em dead,.... then about 3 weeks later they were back. This time one strip did nothing, so he put 2 in there and the results were the same, nothing happened they just kept breeding and eating his plants. I think he's using Azamax now to knock the little bastards down

As far as neem goes, they ingest it after its sprayed on the leaves, and it screws there system up, They don't die right away, but it gets em all, is non toxic to humans or animals and 100% organic.

Neem works on infestations, but is better used as a prevention, if you apply once, then let the plant veg more it will have new growth at the tops (where the mites migrate towards) that is safe for them to eat. I spray my veg room every couple weeks to keep the new growth covered. I only use in veg since it stinks to high hell, and I don't want my buds to taste like that, tho you could use it thru week 2 flower without it effecting the flavor.

I often worry about my flowering plants, but I know they went in clean, so as long as "I" go in clean then there shouldn't be a method for mites to get in there.
