Day 9 Still, just a little later on

Here are a few pics, the leaves on the bigger plant seem to be curling just a tad upward which could possibly be nothing but might also point to Mg deficiency, or pH is off. I will give it another week, since new growth have a track record for twisting leaves etc, as long as new growth persists, it should not be an issue.













That is everything for now, plant is growing consistently, and new growth appears to be in superior health, nutes will begin exactly 5 days at 1/4 strength.

I noticed that the temp was around 87-88 last night when A/C went on the fritz, which leads me to believe heat stress a.k.a transpiration, so to compensate, I have misted the tops of the plants and soil, as well as raise the light up to about 18 inches from the tops of the plants. A/C is also working again, will update in about 6-8 hours to see if any changes are made in leaf structure.

Temp right now is 77 degrees, humidity 40%

I also looked under my seedling first set of leaves, they appear a little purplish tint underneath, wondering if this is normal, I do not suspect nute deficiency because I am using a soil that is great, so I wonder if it is just genetics, or something else. Also, the seedling stems are purple in color when under the light. The leaves edges are a little curled upward but I believe that to be the heat getting too high, and thus transpiration has occurred.

I appreciate any advice, etc. Or something I may be over-looking.

Hey THC, don't stress too much. Our WWs were purplish tinted too and if you look at the pics in my album, they look 'normal' (not that you can see the purplish tints in the early pics!) I'm certainly no expert but I'd say it's normal and nothing to be concerned about. Your babies are looking very much like ours were at that age. I didn't take any pics until they were a bit bigger, but I don't see anything untoward in yours, and like I say, ours are looking good. Keep up the fine work! :jointsmile:

Day 10 since planted in soil

Looks so great man. I can not freakin wait to see the buds on these things by the end of the grow. You probably feel that way also though, :jointsmile:

I am very excited, not to smoke but to know that I can yield very high with an indoor grow simulating as much of the natural conditions as outside, plus my own personal touch of when I decide to start flowering

Which reminds me, need to go check on em and get a few pics taken to update on progress, still a little weary about the leaves curling a little bit, but it could be genetics, etc, or simply heat issue, new growth is definitely looking promising.

Thanks for taking interests in my grow, I will not let you guys down or disappear right before harvest, that is just WRONG!! Talk about a major tease. Almost defeats the purpose of logging, I am logging to share my experience so as to help others better their grows by sharing technique, ideas, etc. Isn't that why we are in the grow logs!?
