Day 45, Day 10 of flowering

That's it so far, the plant in the back is 25 inches and the front one is 22 inches, they are definitely like a small xmas tree shape and the side chutes are expanding alot more since flowering started. Looks as if they are searching for light. Anyways here is the latest set of shots.

Nice looking plants. I like that you use a fertilized soil. I'm considering this route as well rather than add nutes as I go. I like the tip burn on all your plants. They are getting just as much as they can handle and no more. I am thinking that that is b/c the roots seek out and use nutes as they need it rather than being force fed.

Do you mind reposting your soil mix? I think it is posted somewhere below and I'll ferret it out if needed.

I have an issue with your pics though. Any chance you can post up lower resolution pics? The hires pics take an age for my old 2002 powerPC to load up! Once the iMac line gets a refresh I'll be good to go!

Hey guys thanks for checking em out, I can definitely take some lower res pics for you bigs, Here is my soil mix:

For the first 2 pottings I used something like this:

60% FFOF Soil
20% Miracle grow Perlite
10% Bat Guano
10% Worm Castings


For the second 2 pottings (current 3 gal pots now) I used:

30% FFOF Soil
50% Perlite (forgot the brand name)
15% Bat Guano
5% Worm Castings

But now that I have them repotted in the second set (3 gal pots) I am using the Jack's Classic Bloom Booster 1/4 strength in 1 gallon tap water (make sure you take the pH test after adding nutes I keep mine at around 6.5 since the soil runoff comes out to around 6.2 I am sure the plants are getting what they need. I will have some more pics here in a few.

I used both haha I made it sound more complicated than it is I used the first mixture in the smaller containers, basically when I repotted in 3 gallon containers I used the second mixture when repotting. They both work well without burning the plants. When you repot with the second mixture you will need to water more often which I also like because it gives you more options as far as adding nutes goes, since the fertilizer is natural you can add extra and it won't have any effect on the plants well being in a negative way at all, that's why I prefer using the natural stuff over chemicals. (besides Jack's Classic which is natural, but water soluable)

Doing it this way in soil I believe would be the best way to go because you not only ensure the plant gets what it needs the whole run through, but also no worries as far as nute burning goes (unless you wanna push it to the limits haha)

Adding the Blossom Booster the last couple of waterings does not seem to burn them at all, and I get to water more often, more waterings = more options, more perlite = more air getting to roots which = better growth, so use more perlite, more perlite never hurts

I'm still way way behind building my new room. I have some blocks of time coming up so I'm hoping to move it forward. I'm going to use your mix when I start. I assume you used a seedling mix to get them started?

I used the FFOF straight for seedlings, worked quite well. Germinated in wet paper towel for a few days. As soon as root sprouted, I planted in soil. The perlite approach is when I water more often as to not allow the roots to dry out.
