CALLING ALL U.K. WANNA-BE LED GROWERS. ALSO EXPERTS NEEDED FOR ADVICE !

People in the UK will have noticed that there is a lack of LED lighting available here. Apart from very poorly made panels of eBay its hard to get hold of a quality 120,300, or 600w light on eBay or the internet (from the UK).

I plan to import some custom made ones from china, these would have the proper spec for all us growers and I want to know if any UK guys would be interested in buying some when they come around ? Or if you would all rather stick with your HPS, cfls ?

The Lights i would sell would be :

120W

This would consist of 1W diodes at a ratio of 8:1, 660nm red and 470 blue with a 60 degree angle for good light intensity. Wired to the UK with CE and RoHS certification.

300W

This would consist of 3W diodes at a ratio of 8:1, 660nm red and 470 blue with a 60 degree angle for good light intensity. Again with the UK plug and CE & RoHS. If you have done research into getting some LED grow panels it is very hard finding them with 3w diodes (recommended by Straight,who is the most successful person with leds that i have seen.)

600W

This would consist of 3W diodes at a ratio of 8:1, 660nm red and 470 blue with a 60 degree angle for good light intensity. Again with the UK plug and CE & RoHS. If you have done research into getting some LED grow panels it is very hard finding them with 3w diodes (recommended by Straight, who is the most successful person with leds that i have seen.)

So UK people, would these good specs tempt you to buy ?

Experts, anything that could be improved ? Do they really need some orange and white light in there or is Quad band not necessary ?

Please note that i am not trying to sell lights directly, I am doing some market research :rastasmoke:
