Hey guys, relax. I know things are stressful right now and believe me I am so looking forward to next month! Spending 3 weeks in Thailand. All this new regulation, not knowing what's what or which way to go with my patients or grow is very stressful. But we need to work together against this mess.

I agree. Have a great vacation. Wish I had a trip planned.

Used to go about every 3-4 years but time has been marching on and it's been 10 years since I've visited family. Where the heck did the last decade go! Oh yea I remember...spent most of it over in the Middle East, fighting a war I didn't agree with. Now I'm fighting a new war and unfortunately it's our own government/politicians. Really hope I get to see legalization within my lifetime. I think we have made some great strides and really think Colorado is one of the States leading the way. We're lucky to be living here. I talk to my friends back East and I'm dumbfounded by the attitudes/beliefs of the general population there.

EDIT: Sorry, forgot to address the first post. The highest I've heard from Full Spec for raw product is 28%, and they assured me it wasn't the Bruce Banner, although they wouldn't release the name of the strain. Not to say the BB didn't test high, because they said it did. They just said that another strain tested higher.

THC % is great for some people, but without knowing the mitigating factors, it's a pretty worthless stat. I'm proud to show our FSL tests on here, we have nothing to hide. It's obviously not the best bud ever grown, but it does have a great medical benefit.
    Damn, 28 Percent!!

I'm pretty sure Banner was at like 22-24%. I bet funkfingers knows...

And I disagree that THC% is a worthless stat! Quite the contrary! When you go in a place like PURE that tests multiple strains you can see the buds improve as the THC goes up. Some of the most psychoactive ("medicinal") buds I've smoked were ones tested at >20% like the Bruce Banner. I got much less medicinal effect from buds in the 8-10% range.

I do think that people overestimate the amount of THC in buds though. Everyone thinks that good bud has to be at least 25% THC when in actuality that quality of bud is damn hard to find in dispensaries. Buds at 12% THC are not bad by any means... you just take a few more hits and you're at the same spot!

I think it's the seed companies who started this garbage by claiming a certain strain would yield a certain percentage of THC...

I didn't know that Colorado was the state most in favor of legalization in the recent poll. I'm glad to be living around progressive people.:jointsmile:

Yeah, I misspoke a little there. I meant to say people focus too much on THC. Otherwise, agreed.

I can try and dig up some of the test results from fullspectrum.. I believe the banner was just a couple % away from being 24%.. I agree that test results like this can be useful, but there is way more to the effects of cannabis then thc% cbd% cbn%.. I also feel that the other terpenophenolic come in to play pretty heavily in effects..

here's some interesting stuff alexander shulgin wrote on the subject.

keeping in mind that the discovery of cannabinoids/ cannabinoid receptors is pretty recent, I imagine there is much to learn from this sacred herb..

here's the wiki article I found about cannabinoids

    Aye Jake,

My question was merely and clearly outta ignorance. I knew/know of CBD and CBN but I didn't how important a roll they play. I, also, know CBD is what puts you on the couch eating Cheesy Poofs watching Cartmen, well, eating Cheesy Poofs. LOL

Knowing the Bruce Banner is up there, I think Imma gonna track me some down and try it.
