I lived outside of Tucson in the desert for 7 years and never got stung or bit by anything. Just watch where you walk and be extremely careful of where you lay or sit down. Be especially on the lookout for small, white scorpions. I've been told their poison is the strongest.

We used to have an exterminator out to spray the foundation of our house every month after we found a white scorpion inside the house. I highly recommend doing that too.
Yeah it sure did hurt! I've never experienced anything like that before and I hope I don't have to nor anything worse haha

Wow you lived in Tucson? That's pretty cool, I'm not a big fan of Tucson but the scenery is beautiful. I've lived in the East Valley my entire life so that explains why I'm not a big fan of Tucson. Btw, how'd you like Arizona when you lived here?

Well Arizona is notorious for Bark Scorpions and the are one of the most deadliest scorpions here. Luckily for me I'm and adult and still young enough that my immune system was able to fight against the venom. Thanks for the insight on the white scorpions though! And yes we are considering pest control of some sort. There are many roaches outside and that is why the scorpions are here. Last time I checked I'm not a roach

I had to the doc and get shots and everything but it all healed up, thank god. Now I am also very leary of spiders for the really the first time in my life. I am well stocked up on home guard  and spray it liberally all the time, inside and outside the house.
Oh man what are centipedes all about? I think I've seen a few in my back yard but I could have mistaken them for millipedes! What was it like being bitten by a brown recluse? We don't have them here but we have the cousin of them here and they do just about the same damage I would believe.

God damn that's got to be awful! How long was it until you noticed that a recluse got you?
KyleIsNorml Reviewed by KyleIsNorml on . Got stung by a bark scorpion last night So last night I was laying on my floor on my side but somewhat upright drawing for a good 10 minutes. I decided to grab another piece of paper and when I got back into the position that I was in before I got the paper I felt this prick/sting on my left side a little ways above my kidney. Out of no where this intense burning sensation just came about and I started freaking out because I had no idea what had happened and apparently the scorpion had pinched me using both of his pinchers and then Rating: 5
