Expanded Clay Pellets

Hey Everyone,

Ive heard expanded clay pellets (ECP) are a better medium than plain soil, but my concern is with how they deliver nutrients to the plants, and how well they deliver and hold water so the plants roots can thrive. how would one plant in ECP and should other ingredients like coconut fiber be added?
