New Rule
I'm trying to become a pharmacist and I would dispense birth control, btw. But I dont think there should be a law requiring pharmacists to fill any prescription, because sometimes doctors are idiots, and sometimes they have NO idea about the current drugs on the market, simply because they dont have time to research newer drugs and their side effects. For example, if some idiot doctor mistakingly writes a prescription for an unusually high dose of antibiotics, its the pharmacists job to call the doctor and ask him to write a different prescription with the lower dose. If the doctor refuses, the pharmacist should have the right to not fill the prescriptin and warn the patient what old happen if he/she ingests the high dose of antibiotics.
