    question

i have a question about a seedling that is 10 days old. i am growing it along with some others in a secluded spot in some local woods. the plant is very small to be over a week old. when i planted it i didnt have access to good soil to mix in with the woods dirt. as i said the plant is very small and is turning yellow at the tips of the leaves. i believe these problems are due to lack of nutrients in the soil. could i carefully take it out and mix it with some good soil and re-plant it in the same spot or should i just leave it as is and hope for the best?

I would give it a shot of nitrogen, its a bit young for ferts, but a weak solution would perk it up. But was it like this before planting? Was it started in a pot? Soil in woods have alot of natural ferts in it as plant life dies off and feeds the ground. But at ten days you could move it, but a shot of ferts will help, but just one shot and leave her be, she will find space for the roots to take off. Its young yet.
