    another soil and nutes question

ok i want to keep this simple and non specific. (i.e. brand names, i cant buy ff or any of that where im located)
its an indoor soil grow under cfl's
I know (i think) im looking for a potting soil with a ph of about 7, to this im planning to add maybe 40% of perlite and plant up.
after that i'll be looking for nutrients.
could i get a few answers in this thread of decent nutrient values of which i should aim for?
N-p-k for veg then n-P-k for flower right?
    but what sort of settings?
furthermore is there any way i can use other things to feed my plants? I dont really want to be shopping for plant food.. however bonemeal, lobster shells, ash and coffee grounds i can get this sort of stuff in abundance but can i use it? how simple is it to feed with these sorts of things?

apologies in advance. i know these questions have been answered over and over.

You want to use NPK for veg and PPK for flower.

I would stick with buying plantfood dont think lobster shells will make your dope taste very nice !

Edit : Didnt mean to write PPK, rather you want a PK fertiliser with little to no nitrogen.

    another soil and nutes question

You also said you cannot get FF where you live, I bet $$ you can..

Just go on Amazon and search for it, its where I bought mine from, also eBay has some good sales on HESI (if the listings are still there) as well as FF nutes.

You definitely wanna start off with a very well balanced soil such as FF organic, possibly add in 1 part perlite, and 1 part bat guano, worm castings wouldn't hurt either, and all this stuff is relatively cheap and can be found online.

If you do get FF, make sure you add the proper amount of nutes at the specified time on the chart, one of the most common problems people have is overfeeding nutes, big no-no. So go easy on the nutes in the beginning stages, and gradually increase to the specified amount listed on the chart.

    another soil and nutes question

ok. i'd like to use these things. worm castings, bat guano etc.. but im not in my home country here and with the language barrier + the fact that i'd rather be viewed as just another guy just buying compost. i dont think its going to be an option.
also buying from the internet isnt really what i want to be doing either. so far ive managed to stay away from any 'hydro' shops and i know i can get everything i need from 1 or 2 'normal' places.

i suppose if i have to buy plant food i will. i'd really rather not. but i will.
in fact im not even overly keen on the idea of paying for soil.
why cant i just go dig some up and put it through the oven for 45 mins at 80c?
