Ofcourse he would, it sounds like the rent a cop was a real piece of shit, I realy don't want to get into an arguement with you on this but its obvious you're butt hurt over them bringing up mmj. As you said, it has nothing to do with this, so quit crying about it. But yeah, what a great point you made!! Unlike you, I wouldn't take my shirt off just because someone told me to, good to know we have patients that obey every command made of them.

I'm really sorry 99% percent of the mmj community disagrees with you HighPopalorum, maybe'd you have better luck on some other type of forum, but its obvious you're views are way off from the communities. Keep trying to piss people off on here, I hope it makes ya feel better or something. I know that's you're goal here as you've said it in previous posts. Love to point those out to you if you want to deny you're intentions here. Have a nice day.

Vega, I guess we will agree to disagree on this. I love lively politcal debate. I see this as a first amendment situation. Lucky for us video tape is everywhere and cameras will show that Jake was just shopping, detained by security and did nothing but wear a Yes we Cannibis tee shirt.
The video should be clear.
I guess we will wait and see if the attorney I contacted sees this as a plausible case and how it will play out.
Film at 11 and lets hope the national guard don't show up

Here's the prollem I see with that. Jake wasn't busted for being a "obnoxious punk." He was busted for wearing a pro-pot t-shirt. If they stopped him for being loud it would be a differnt story. They stopped him and tryed to sequester his 1st Amendment right to Free Speach because they don't morally agree with his stance.

I, personally, would like to see a picket of the mall (and I'd be the first one there)! But, that's just my agenda which doesn't hold a light to Matt and his fight right now.
Keep us up-to-date as the lawyer allows.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I just got off the phone with what I assume is a PR person for the mall. He was pleasant, he listened and e basically said they are investigating the situation. We spoke briefly about their "code of conduct" in regards to clothing. It is vague at best, and we agreed it will be up to a few lawyer types.
I was told I should hear from the mall management in a few days after the investigation. Funny he seemed most concerned when I told him I contacted the city of Aurora. Also, the mention of a boycott was a cause for concern.
I am having my preliminary talk with an attorney this evening. Myself or Jake will keep in touch.

It is VERY illegal! They breached his First Amendment Rights, clearly.

It's not unlike me telling you "you must shut up because you are wrong."
Yes, your wrong but I am, by no means, going to tell you to shut up!!! You have the RIGHT to express your opinion and I would be a hypocrite if I told you you many not practice your First Amendment RIGHT to Free Speach.
