Ok so High Pop is a leo, huh? I got the feeling he was a lawyer! No offence High Pop! Tho lawyers are "officers of the court" WETE that means.

I'm actually a teacher. (of government and civics, among other things) I try to say every three posts or so that I'm not a lawyer! I think it's ironic that some here accuse me of being an undercover cop, because in real life I'm anything but: I'm a tweedy liberal academic type with an ACLU card, a bicycle and an iphone. I don't meet a lot of police officers like myself.

Well its in the paper. Susan did a great Job. I wasnt sure if I was supposed to say who was representing me but Susan quoted some of the letter that Rob Corry wrote on my behalf so I guess its cool
Rob and Jessica Corry are really nice people that are all about the cause. They were very supportive and shocked at my story. Most lawyers would be salivating at the possibility of a lawsuit. Rob wanted to make this more about the cause. I thought that was very cool.

I really love Mr Corry's sarcasm and humor. The letter was a great read, and Fox 31 new will air the story tonight at 5pm. CBS also interviewed him but unsure when it will air.

Westword and Huffingtonpost.com both had posts, and Jake is on the top 20 storys atm that are on Huffington.

CBS just showed it. It was pretty quick, but reasonably balanced. They communicated that the potential legal action was about removing the ban and their policies rather than money. :thumbsup:

studdered a bit for fox lol. Im not a big fan of the interviews so far.Im not used to seein myself on TV.
I figured the police would make something up but saying I was cursing and acting out is stupid. We all know if that was the case I woulda got arrested. Ive never had a cop NOT write me a ticket there was grounds for. I think I might have said that it was bullshit but I did not curse out the mall employees and the police WERE there before I was even told what was going on.


Rob and Jessica along with SAFER Colorado would like to do a demonstration at the mall on Saturday 4:00. :P Could be fun

I just got a response to my email from Aj Coffee. It states, "we would like to clarify that Mr. Gailey was not asked to leave the mall because of his T-shirt â?? he was asked to leave because of his belligerent behavior." AND "Mr. Gailey got very loud and began yelling obscenities at our staff members causing a significant disturbance."

It appears this will be their defense.
