I agree on the pregrinding thing, for the reasons expressed by the wonderful multitude above me, but also for the fact that even if he's not cutting the stuph with anything, or adding that 'spice' shit to some 'legal bud', he's undoubtedly doing it in a budbuster, and collecting a lot of your crystals in the process.

One must always buy bud unground, so that one can examine the structure and density (important!). One must ALSO get a scale--shouldn't cost you more than $20 bux, and begin weighing everything you buy.

I started doing this a while ago because I suspected that one of the seven or so people I dealt with at the time was ripping me off, or shorting me. Back in that day, the cheapest decent digital scale I could get cost me 80 bux, and I considered it a worthy investment.

As it turned out, the dude who I figgr'd was ripping me wasn't, but a couple of the others were, so I have a policy ever since of not touching the bag until I get home, and confirming its weight. It doesn't matter if I've been dealing with you for years, I just weigh everything*. That way, if a mistake has been made, it can be corrected in the next batch. If I find that a dude is consistently a wee bit over the stated weight (a la Smuck3r5), I make a point of smoking 'im up every now and then.

Anyone who won't take my word on what the bag weighed at my end [AND make up the dif in the next order] is someone who I won't deal with more than twice (only once if the bag was off a LOT--I've seen O's missing a whole eighth, and there's no $*%*&ing way that I'm paying for 28, and getting 24.5, or paying for a mere 3.5, and getting 2.9--I will accept 3.4, and 27.8 respectively as being 'on', for larger quantities, increase margin of error appropriately).

Keep looking for the better hookup. I find that consistently, whenever I move to a new city, I usually go thru about nine or so, before I find the first Truly Decent Guy (or Girl), whose weight is always on (or a whisker over), can be trusted to be on time (or doesn't mind me stopping in, when convenient), has the best shite (and usually two or three varieties of, at any given time), and gives reasonable increasing volume discounts.

And get yer medi-papers if you at all qualify. It makes shopping much more diverse, convenient and hassle-free

*The only exemption to this policy is when I am shopping at a dispensary downtown, which is where I usually go now. Their scale is right in front of me
