Strain is called Medi-Bud. Strain developed in Holland and recently out on market. Short to medium height with a 8-9 week flower. We are currently doing 9 weeks but I'm gonna sneak in a 10 week somewhere to see if there is much difference. Dont get me wrong this is VERY good smoke but if your not trying to make it just a lil better then your taking the fun out of it. This strain loves hydro and has very high hopes for it's medicinal qualities. Only found 1 bank on the net that sells it. We spent the extra bills for feminized that way if I end up with a dude there is only 1 way to point the finger ...... straight up!! :wtf:

The last grow I logged was the first time I used any additive outside of Superthrive for starting clones and veg. This time we are continuing with the ST and adding 1 or 2 others

Gh 3-part as always, I wont use anything else (can I be a paid spokesperson??:jointsmile
There rest is all GH brand so I'm not gonna type GH for it all.
Calmag, Koolbloom, Florishous Plus. The tent saw 8oz off 3 1/2 plants for my virgin DWC run under a 400w Cooltube. I cant wait for the finish of this. Oh before I forget I hooked up my light exhaust to an old dryer vent that isnt used anymore to get the heat away from my rez, rez has dropped about 2-3 degrees and the only way to tell anything coming out is to try to watch the grass move. 10 ladies in there on there last week of life and no smell

Well nothing new to report except had to do some emergency surgery on 3 of the clones. I believe that I ended up with an air bubble in each one, I dont think the stem was crushed when put in the RR. I did a 45' cut above the damaged area and reinserted in RR. Inside of RR still had a coating of gel so didnt add anymore.

Lil Mom is doing quite well. She has 6 roots that have found water and one of them is that nice fuzzy looking kind

My first and second clone efforts sucked so I had to plant seeds to get something going (way behind time wize). Couple of questions for you on what you said in this post:

    1) What do you mean "air bubble"?
    2) What do you mean with it was crushed? Do you mean you did not have a good 45 angle cut and you cut above the bad cut and cut it again?

Since I sucked at cloning this go around I am trying to learn for next time I try to clone.

I love the way a nice full root mass looks in hydro, so clean and crisp.

Have you tried the maxi series? Just wondering if you use the 3 part Flora because of dissolvebility? (Idk if that's a word, but it should be)

You need to read my POST on 100% CLONE RATE

Hint: spliting the RR cubes down one side avoids crushing or crumpling the stem

the air bubble I'm talking about is when you make a cut on the stem there is a very good chance that the stem will basicall suck air into it. when this happens it blocks anything from going up the stem to keep the plant alive. A crushed stem is when you either squeeze it to hard or when inserting into like a RR it bends enough to snap.

I have stayed with 3-part because it has never done me wrong. E&F, DWC and now downstairs and it always comes through for me. Now that the basement is running I just might experiment a lil in the tent.

Same process using Rapid Rooters Daddy?? Tried that once when I was still using Rockwool and the dam thing would not close back up. Had to use friggin bread ties to hold it together.

Thanks Tiny and Daddy for the feedback and will check it out. Here are some of the errors I now understand I made:

    1) I did not soak the rock cube in low PH (5.5) water.
    2) I did not use a heat mat under my dome
    3) I did not use low PH water. Water I used had PH in the 8 range

Have seeds going now and will try cloning again next time around.

    Tiny:

You have a hell of a grow/setup going, great work and look forward to seeing the results.

Hey Tiny, I am not sure if you've tried but a bubbler clone works wonders for me and I am sure it would for you too! I don't manage my environment right now very well. When I mean I don't control my environment I mean that the clones are in 105 degree attic in a bubbler that really I don't even maintain. Still got roots in about 2 weeks on 15 girls. I even leave them in there once roots are showing and let them grow DWC style for another week or two. Once the roots can handle nutes I put them right into flower. I don't have to worry about anything when it comes to them rooting. I know you already know what you are doing though

Well I would say I have a decent grasp of the situation
I have looked into bubble cloners (DIY of course), and actually have 2 made containers all set and have quite a few airstones laying around and have enough air tubing to hang someone but my problem was a didnt have the lousy 10 bucks for a stupid air pump!! I am hoping that this will be 1 of the last times using the dome and such. Really hard to keep temp in range and such when I leave for work it is 68 outside and come home to 80+. As always ty all for input and hopefully this thing will turn out a nice yield. The virgin grow ends this friday so will spend holiday trimming and such.
