Cannabis and Glaucoma

Greetings All-

My grandmother is suffering from macular degeneration and Glaucoma. She has been going to the eye doctor for years with some success in stabilizing her eyes or at least slowing the loss of her eye sight. Lately it has taken a turn for the worse and she is losing her vision. I feel like this would be an appropriate time to suggest the use of Cannabis to help her condition as I require not only her comfort and consent but need the support of my father, his brother and two sisters who vary positionally on both sides of the efficacy and ethical use of medical Cannabis. I submit the following questions:


First,

Can anyone provide links or suggest printed material that might show some medical research or at least promising testimonial of success with Cannabis and Glaucoma.


Second,

Does anyone have personal experience or know of someone that has had success in using Cannabis to treat Glaucoma.

Is there anyone on here that has personal experience with treating Glaucoma?
