They all get about 6-7 hours direct sunlight, but everything I read says that the more sun, the better. Also, I planted them in my veggie garden in order to camo them some what, and I planted them at the back of the garden, which is right next to a fence... Once I started thinking about it, someone could just knock the fence boards out and steal my whole crop. I am just kicking myself in the ass for planting them where I did. I was just too anxious to get them into the ground.
Growing outside ya got that risk of a scum bag trying to rip ya off. But they should grow short and bush like. So, its not like your going for ten footer and if they do get that big, you can tie them down pretty easy. Your going to have a good harvest.

Has anyone ever knocked down the fence boards before? I wouldn't worry about it. And 6-7 hours is just about what mine got last year. They didn't get tall, but packed full of buds This year i adjusted for the problem, like you will next year, in less ya grow indoors?

Should I test the pH of the soil?
No man, i think your cool:thumbsup:

What about trimming/topping them?
Top one or fim one, just as a practice type thing. But do not remove any leaves. People who trim lower leaves grow inside andthey do this because the light inside isnt the sun, so will not penatraite as well as outside. So,no trimming.

The more I read on how to properly grow marijuana, the more complex it gets.. Why is it called "weed" if it's such a touchy plant to grow?! Shit, now I know why I pay so much for it. But soo worth it. They are such beautiful plants, and I'd like to keep mine that way!
Don't let what you read over complicate things for you. There are plenty of methods, but getting stated is all about watching a plant grow through each stage. You will learn from watching and reading. You dont need to try all methods when your just starting out. Im not saying to maybe try topping one or fim, but just getting them grown and harvested, next grow you step up your game. Then try different methods or techniques after you have grown a crop that may interest you.

They are so easy to grow, like a weed. Its just that you put time into it and luv, so i understand by reading, it could freak you out. But these issues your reading is here for people to learn from, its not here to worry you. So just ignore that crap, till an issue comes up and bang, you can recall something you read or saw here, which could fix a problem. Dont worry so much man, cuz it can drive ya nuts. And if you do have a problem, we are here to help. You put your reading in, which is something some people dont, so your a step ahead man. Just try not to worry, i know its not easy as i too can freak once an awhile too.

I will post some pics tomorrow, too late tonight. I will continue updating as well. Nice to have some experts to guide me along the way! Happy growing!!!!
Luv to see your crop:thumbsup:And try an post in the same thread, so you will get more people popping in to help with any questions.

See Ya man:rasta:
