Lighting Question
i have had conversation about this before...the glass in any reflector will always cut down some of the effective light so a bare bulb is about 10% brighter without the glass lens of the reflector

Lighting Question In the begining I just hung 1000 watt bulbs vertical. the socket was attatched to a piece of white sheet metal "sides of clothes dryer 3'sq." a lot of reflected light off the white walls of the room made the room seem bright. Now I use air cooled horizontal 6" ducted reflectors with glass bottoms, they are the deep style Sun Systems. No light any higher up the walls than 5' and the room just seems dimmer, even with the bright areas near the center of the room. my ques. is this Which do Rating: 5
