My current cabinet is much smaller- 2' X 1' X 4' 8". and has an active air intake (camouflaged by a kitty litter box) so...what's a clean, safe way to increase Co2 levels? Does it really matter for such a small grow (2 plants in a small cabinet)?

Prolly the cheapest and easiest is a gallon jug fermentation.
Fill the jug with water to the 3/4 mark, add 1 cup sugar, add 1 pkg yeast at room temperature.
Sugar + yeastbeasties = CO2 and Ethanol.
best to squish some tinfoil over the top to keep bacteria out.
The CO2 will be produced for about 30 days at a slow and steady pace and the gas density and positive pressure will keep the bad bugs out of the ferment.
(Too much CO2 is harmful to people and plants)

And It's a good idea to sterilize the jug and boil the water first.
But, if you no gonna drink him, Q n D work jus' fine.:rastasmoke:
