    rob corry legal seminar tonight?

Anyone going? I was thinking about it. It costs $175 for three hours and to have all your questions answered. Didnt know if anyone of you have been to one before. Is it worth it?

$175 seems a little strong for a seminar. You could probably get a consultation for that, and have your questions answered in privacy and actually establish an attorney/client relationship. Of course, if money is no object, then you should go to the seminar and then afterwards hire the best of the speakers to be your attorney.

(No comment at all on the content of this seminar. I have no idea what they will cover.)

I guess my two main concerns were the application process and the fee-both of which hasn't been determined yet, that's why I was asking if it's worth it to even go I guess. I do have questions on other aspects toom just to feel a little more settled with the whole thing. I am already growing 50% of my supply, so although that rule is outrageous, I feel okay being ready in time.

I think I am going anyway, may find out information I haven't heard yet.

to above poster: the seminar is about dispensaries being able to comply with the new rules-what you have to do

Can someone please ask the lawyers on what date will caregivers only be able to provide meds to 5 patients? There seems to be some confusion as I have seen both 07/01/10 and 07/01/11. I just read an article by Vicente this morning that said that patients that had caregivers with more than 5 patients probably needed to find a new one by next year.

    Thanks,

Did anyone attend the meeting? Is he going to file a civil case and injunction? If so what parts is he going to attack? At first I heard him talking about patient/caregiver ratio, plant count for caregivers, dispensaries zoning and dispensaries 30/70, dispensaries/caregiver relationship etc

Now it seems to be nothing but dispensaries this or that. What happen to the caregiver?

I was there and will see him again today.
he is going to take it to court but the odds of a judge ordering an injunction on a State Law is slim. so they will force many folks out of biz, and if rob wins years later, those folks that are unjustly forced out of business are just shit out of luck!

Yea I just spoke with NORML and they said once the Gov signs off on the bill a chance of a injuction is a billion to one. In other words it is not going to happen.

They said the civil part will drag on for years to just plan on everything staying the way the new law reads. So, other words the new law is only going to help push out caregiver, small dispencaries and will only help big money back dispencaries which in time will be the only thing around.

All comes down to MONEY.. Just wonder how much Romer will be putting in his pocket from under the table pay offs
