This is the chronology.

I smoked about two bowls a day from April 19th to April 25th.

Prior to that I did not smoke at all for 2 and a half months. My previous useage was about one ounce during December. Before that nothing for six months.

On April 30th I was told I would have a drug test for pre-employment screening.

I have been exercising like mad.

Stopped yesterday.

All my drug tests are First Check.

May 3rd Took a First Check and passed with a faint line. Before taking the test I drank about 30 ounces of water over a period of one to two hours. This test was sent in to First Check for gas chromatography. Came back negative.

May 6th did the same and got a faint line. Sent it in for gas Chromatography again and it came back negative.

May 10th did the same and it came back negative again.

Since then I have tested myself every other day and got a real faint line or a line that was not so faint. Unitl today, (when I used the first void of the day) the lines were getting progressively darker.

This morning was the first time I tested the first urine of the day. The line was there, but it was real faint. Yikes! Every other time, I drank about 30 ounces of water over a one to two hour period And the lines each time I tested on subsequent days were getting darker. Just only about half as dark as the control line.

So, I just drank about 48 ounces of water and will be taking gatorade, about 4 ounces every 15 to 20 minutes.

I will take 25 mg of B2 at 8:30 am. I will crunch it up in my mouth.
At the same time I will take 600 mg of vitamin C.
I have eaten burgers and roast beef at my meals for the last three days.

I will enter the lab for urinalysis testing at 12:30 pm.

Am 6 feet tall and about 200 pounds.

Since I got a pretty faint line on the first void of the day I should pass.

Does anyone agree?

But... to be cautious I am diluting also.

Question #1. When I take the First Check tests that require three drops, the lines are less faint than when I take the First Check tests that require to pee in a cup. Does anyone know why this is?

Question #2. My three tests on May 3, May 6 and May 10 were all sent to the First Check lab and all came back negative. I checked the test results on the First Check internet site. But the tests were not the first void of the day and I had taken about 30 ounces of water. Is the first void of the day that much dirtier so that the line is now very faint as of this morning? This Morning's test was the first test where I used the first urine of the day.

Question #3. Can anyone guess if the chances of my passing the test?
My guess is that the test will be negative or dilute.

This is a horrible experience to go through. It has made me sensitive to others who are going through this experience.

Question #4. If it is dilute, it is for a pre-employment test, will they most likely just call me back for another test?

So I just returned from my urinalysis test.

Just prior to the test, I retested with FirstCheck. It was a two drug test.

The THC line was as good as the COC line. Lots of color, but neither was solid. I never used COC, so I do not understand why.

Anyway, the only danger is a negative dilute, or so I think.

Will update as to the results. The tester put me in a totally private room for the test. I could have subbed easy.

Youre worrying yourself over nothing. There is no meaning attributed to the intensity of the line. A faint line is still a line which translates a negative.

I know the faint line was a negative, it is just that every time in my life that there have been big stakes, extreme caution has been the watchword.

It is almost a certainty that I would not be here now without this trait.

My caution in this instance may result in a negative dilution. And at this point, I have purchased about ten FirstCheck test kits. Expensive, but they console the paranoid.
The next step is to report on the results and to try and be as accurate as possible so others may benefit.
