why do we need to have a wealthy country?

or why do we need do have wealthy values, wealthy ppl, good system,etc..

the thing is that we are killing our only planet. seems like nobody realize that. we will die pretty soon. i im absolutly sure i will assist to The End. so why would we? to give a better life to our childrens, to live ourself in a better life, to help the poor, to not be individualist, to care about the whole society ecept only us. thats the point man. yea we can sit in a farm and smokin joints, but thall just give the power to any cocky politician to do what they want.
