from my experience, dry buds do not produce as pleasant an experience as moist herbs.

It could also be because the iolite has no temperature control so youre just vaping at god knows what temperature.

I would avoid the iolite at all costs. All the effort that goes into using the unit is not returned in delicious vapes.

Buyer beware
Water content vaporizes before the active compounds. Moist herb just means it take longer to vape, since the moisture has to go first.

No temp control? I think a fixed temp qualifies as a temp control.

iolite specs:
Length 102mm
Width 25mm
Breadth 64mm
Weight (empty) 81g
Operating time Up to 120 min
Operating temp 190C
Wattage (equivalent) 125W
Refill time (typical) 10 seconds
Approval / Quality standards ISO:9000-2001
Bowl capacity 500mg/0.5g

I've owned and used an iolite since Vaporstore started taking pre-orders in the fall of '08. Haven't had any problems (although it's not as reliable as simpler models), and I've thoroughly enjoyed mine for portable use.

190. You won't find a fixed temp vape that's set much higher than that.
vapefiend Reviewed by vapefiend on . Please help with my Iolite!!! So, I really hope someone out there can help me out here. I'd been considering getting a vaporizor for awhile now due to all the great benefits you guys talk about and economical reasons...So, I purchased the iolite at the smoke shop for $200. After 2 weeks of trial and error, youtube tutorials, calls to the shop, etc. I still cant get this thing to work. This is my first vaporizer and I'm afraid I'm just terribly missing the concept here and I'm hoping one of you out there can tell me what i'm Rating: 5
