Little help here. I understand we are allowed to grow 6 plants. 3 in flower and 3 not in flower for a total of six plants.

However, I have heard some people say that a Dr can write on the form you need more then 6 plants.

What is the normal amount a Dr will go above the six plants and has anyone heard any blow back from it from the courts or Law Enforcement? How legal is it?

What I've heard, and read, is,..

Amendment 20 says, three and three, or whatever the patient needs are. So, very unclear.:wtf:

HB10-1284 supports the caregiver in that regard, ALSO saying "or what is required"(or similar verb-age).

The DEA has charged a few small growers with high plant count. A few have been convicted from what I remember (seems to depend on some other factor as well).

However I believe I read a couple of growers have also successfully fought it and won BASED on the "or what is prescribed" clause.

I'd say it's all still somewhat up in the air.

My lawyer said you'd have to defend it, so you'd need to prove the need for more than 3 flowering plants. If you stick to 3 and 3, you will not. So, if you're dr. says you can grow 30 plants, and they are all trees yielding a lb per plant or more with 10 1000W lights on them, you might have a hard time defending yourself in court.

I'd stick to what the law specifically states, 3 flowering plants per patient.

exactly. once you go beyond your allotted plants, it is up to YOU to prove why it is needed

you can, but it will cost $$$. so is it worth it? that is up to you.
