Hey all, been away for awhile, but I thought I would share our success with you all. Some of you probably already use this stuff but hey here we go....
Last year we had a terrible run with clones and plants in general. We tried almost everything til our local hydro shop suggested and gave us a bag of these hydrogarden plugs for a trial ( we spent a shite load there over a period of time).
to start of with we moved our clone room into the house where temperatures would be more stable. We then purchased a propagation room with a heated pad for $99. I made a mix of 1 litre of water and added a couple of drops of oxyplus, 2 mls of budlink, 2 mls of alaska pure and just a couple of drops of superthrive and ph tested the water 5.8-6.3. We did the usual lbed of perlite in the propagation tray and put the water in the tray beneath it. Put our pre-cut babies in the plugs, chucked the lid on, made sure all the flaps on the cover were shut to increase humidity, lowered the light, closed the door and wait to see what happened.
We had 12 babies in there and all grew legs....IN 4 DAYS!!! yes thats right in 4 days. I was stunned, not only 100% strike rate but in half the time we were told ie 8 days usually.
All I can say is these hydro garden plugs or rapid rooting plugs sure as hell work. If you are not using them give em a go, no more rock wool for us....
