I've been using this method for a while now. (over a year) The potting soil I use is called Filthy Rich by Dr. Q. The name fits, and can be a bit difficult for rooting clones and germinating seeds, but no problems for the remainder of the grow. It's kinda like Ocean Forest, but different organics. It's all good though.

Don't know which nutrients you use, but the Fox Farms feeding schedule includes adding a couple of weeks of growth nutes, a couple of weeks into flower. Fox Farms weekly feeding schedule - Soil
Transplanting two weeks in jives with this schedule. Perhaps a bit longer lasting than the normal nutrients, and it will keep your ladies deeper green through most of flowering, and might add a couple of inches to the PMS, (pre motherhood stretch...happens just after switching to 12/12) but has never affected quality or taste overall. I flush monthly to release salt build-up and remove excess nutrients on the first of every month.

Having problems keeping her hydrated...?
