How will HB10-1284 affect small (<5 patients) caregivers in general? I'm talking about independent caregivers who are not associated with any dispensary. I know they won't be able to sell their extra meds legally to anyone other than patients. What I'm also interested in is primarily privacy related: -Will small caregivers have to register somewhere giving additional information beyond regular patients? Possibly but not Rating: 5

There is help on its way. If you form or join an Association of caregivers and have a web based software system that is centralized over the web from any computer at any time you can operate very efficiently and effectively with only 5 patients.

Don't forget that you can have 5 patients at any given time and computer time is instantaneous. Though an association caregivers can buy wholesale from centers and charge for their services. Subsequently, the caregiver association becomes the new distribution outlet for centers.

Caregivers do not have to pay the outrageous fees and zoning requirements of a Center.

LOL 5 patients is 5 patients. You have to be registered with those 5 patients. What do you mean "any given time"? Why would you not just grow for those 5 patients and cut out the dispensary?
Do you think dispensaries are going to let caregivers cut in on their profit?
