The Weasles Attack Each Other, Told you so!
Let there be no doubt Wanda is a huge supporter of the bill. From the article comments:
>>>Wanda James says:
What do patients want? No regulation? No oversite as to who is selling MMJ? No accounting to the State how much money is passing hands? No over site as to who is growing and moving MMJ?
Before we argue, let's get an exact answer to what patients want, that they didn't get?
Wanda James says:
Well, Bobbie, what patients' constitutional rights were violated?
I am just asking what did the patients want that they did not get? I am a patient and as of today i can buy MMJ from any dispensary in Colorado.
Let's talk facts here people, not emotional responses. The police come into my restauarant every now and then and check to see if my liquor is locked up and my bar is operating correctly.
Did you think that would not happen in this industry? If you did, why would you think that? Name one legal industry that is not regualted. Name ONE! Doctors are regulated, restuarants a regulated. The MMJ business is regulated. I am sorry that this upsets you. But as a society we are all regulated and their will be rules.
And BTW, I didn't throw thousands of dollars anywhere. Let's talk facts, not emotional "gotchas".
Is the bill perfect, no it is not. Is it a start, yes, it is. The business owners are the ones under the gun, not the patients.<<<
She seems to know exactly what the patients want huh? The bottom line to me is she is a businesswoman. To her, how this bill affects patients is second to how this bill affects her dispensary! It's obvious. I guarantee if there were 1-2 provisions on there that Apothecary couldn't meet she'd be doing a complete 180
I don't think she's a devilwoman as some seem to be claiming. But I also don't think her and her husband care about patients as much as they may claim. Nothing wrong with being a businessman/businesswoman. But it's nice for the patients know that. Some prefer to keep their business with the artisans...
On another note, dispensary owners crafting dispensary regulations (which seems to be basically what happened) just doesn't seem like a good idea to me. What patient/caregiver representation was present at these lobbying/legislation/whatever-the-fuck-they-are meetings? That's where things went wrong it seems
