    Future career opportunities

I've already seen some cl ads trying to get this going - MMJ grow advisor/mentor/supplier.

I think with all the uncertainty and crap coming as 109 & 1284 get ramped up a lot of folks will be attempting home grows, like me. I imagine most/many of us will be small scale - space limits me to a 2x2x5 grow tent, and I'm scuffling to find enough room to set up a mom/clone/seed/veg space. Self-sufficiency, totally under the radar, is my goal, on a small retired vets pension in an apartment.

But I'm a black thumb, baby, so whatever problems can be encountered I'll hit 3x or more. I'm heavily reading on lots of boards but knowledge isn't experience. This stuff's expensive, even small scale, to get up and going - if there was someone local who knew what the hell they were talking about it could save us lots in start-up and dialing in grow sites. If it had been available I'd have paid for an initial consultation to analyze my space, get my shopping list together, and have someone qualified available for as-needed consults.

I don't know how much I'd be willing to spend, but I'm using ca 1 1/2 oz/mth currently so that's $500+mth that I'm looking to save. Set me up to save that and it's worth at least 10%/mth to me for a contract through first two grows, doctor visits after that. You'd need volume to make it a viable business, but if you can set up a good business/marketing plan, are good with people and know how to grow, this is a field that's wide open. But get a really good lawyer.

if you're growing yourself I wouldn't advise it, since it will draw leo attn in proportion to your success. So that means that most knowledgeable people wouldn't really be in it, just wanna-be's. Oh well, never mind. (Really good Sour D from Higher Health!).

What we need is something like the SBA's retired exec program. Now there's something positive the State could do with our money!! A Retired Growers' Advisory Dept. :rastasmoke:

    Pipe dream. Puff on.
