    I don't have a clue ...

Planted 3 seeds in the pot that currently has the biggest one out of three (as a bet with my GF). Transferred them into individual pots. The biggest one is darker in color then the other 2. I did fertilize the biggest one with liquid fertilizer. Just fertilized the smallest one yesterday. Not sure what to do next. The leaves are growing like crazy. I read up on males / females. IM A FIRST TIME GROWER. I know absolutely nothing on what to do next. All Ive done is water them every other day, and prune the bottom leaves. Can anyone help? Check the pictures. And thank you in advance.

Your next logical step is to force your plants to declare what sex they are. There are a few ways to do this, the easiest would be to limit their daylight to 12 hours each day. After a week or two of 12/12 the plants will show you a white hair at the leaf stem junction or balls.

As soon as they declare sex return them to the natural photoperiod. Keep replanting them into a bigger pot each month. They will do the rest. Also look around for a place to stash your plant. It may get quite large.

    Good Luck.

Man with your first grow and all just watch them close. Its amazing what you can learn by getting a grow under your belt. First thing i would suggest is only water when the pots are light. After you water, pick up your plant and feel how heavy it feels. Then you will have an idea as to how dry it is. They like to get dry sometime and as you watch you will see. Also if your growing outside, do not pull any leaves period. Because its the leaves that make the plant grow as it takes in the Suns light to feed the plant. So, the more leaves the better growth outside. People will pull leaves inside, but thats because light penetrates less then inside, but the Sun will do its job, if ya have leaves.

They look great and your going to see differences in your plants, even if they are the same strain. They really dont need any ferts for 30 days, but if you give it, start at 1/4 strength and build up to max strength. As far as re potting, just watch the plant it will tell you when its time to re pot. I watch the leaves and when there not all perked up to the Sun, thats a clue you might want to check the roots. You only need to let the plant dry out a bit and tap the sides, it will slide right out, if you see roots growing on the outer soil re pot in a bigger pot with fresh soil. Not sure you need a re pot every month, but in the hot humid weather they grow fast so its close and will not hurt the plant, just get it bigger.

Males grow faster, but that doesnt mean ya got one, could just be in the genetics of that seed to grow faster.

Good luck and any more questions, just ask:rasta:

Thanks for the info. I wont prune anymore leaves. Just heard from a friend its good to prune the bottom leaves. Is there a time table as to when the plants will "reveal" their sex? The only sunlight they get is the nautral sunlight as they stay on my deck 24/7. Usually get sunlight from about 7am to about 6pm or so. I have an outside shed I can put them in at night if they need "total darkness". Only problem is they stink all to hell. Guess its better in the shed then in the house. I guess the other questions I have can wait until the sex is determined. Thanks agian.

Sure you can wait. Last year i had a really nice plant that i put in a 5 gallon bucket and it got huge, then turned male. So, i only thing i was out was some soil, nutes and some work. But my others were female:jointsmile:, so i would treat them all the same, so when they show sex, they will be in good shape for flowering. Just takes time, but its fun to garden and a great hobby. And if you put them in dark period now, your yield will be no more then a few joints. So, why not let them become big plants and get yourself a few Oz's. I might try an find a spot to get them more light, they will get much bigger :thumbsup:. Anything ya need just post it:hippy:

You can just leave them where they are, and let nature work her magic. Only problem there is you may grow a big worthless male. Or two, Or god forbid three.

In the shed, if you think they smell now, wait until you have a girl or two baking on your deck in full bud.

Sometimes they will show sex on their own early. If you can give us a close up of the stem, where the leaf and branch meet, just below the main top, we may give you an idea of what will be.

If they are only getting 11 hours of light now (we are talking about sunrise to sunset) your plants will be showing very soon anyway. If that's the case relax. LSY is right. This will be a learning experience.

Oh, and putting a plant in the dark for an extra hour each night for a couple of weeks will not effect your yield. It is only May. You still have four months to make up that growth. :wtf:

You are not rude. Happy to explain my thinking. I assume he is in Northern Hemisphere. If he was in the South the plant in question would have shown sex already. Thus, he would not be asking his question.
