Noob to growing with a question about fan leaves

I have a few cycles under my belt and I'm getting a pile of fan leaves laying around are these good for anything? I'm sure trim is. Can you make canabutter out of the whole mess?

    Thanks in advance

No the fan leaves are not potent enough, basically your not going to collect a worth-while amount trichomes if any at all, save the trim (directly off the bud) for making assorted medicines.

actually, yes, you can use the fan leaves. No, they may not be the most potent, but you certainly can use them along with some trim. I've used just the clippings from outdoor grows before and have had AMAZING results. I've been baking for a few years now and refuse to use "good weed" to make cannabutter.....the trim and leaves work great!
