mechanism for caregivers to limit their patientsmy concern is if it looks like I have more than 5 at the CDOH, do I get a visit from auditors with guns?

I do believe when challenged (again) the 5 patient limit will be gone.

How long would a petition for an exception take to get from the CDOH? 6 months plus?Colorado patient grower. :rambohead:

mechanism for caregivers to limit their patientsThere's been some media attention to how far behind the CDPHE/MMJ Registry is in processing but it's really incomplete as to what the real situation is. My understanding is that they're getting 1,000 ltrs/day avg, and this includes applications, changes, & renewals. They're currently processing "300 applications" per day. Maybe those seriously underworked temps are also working on changes/renewals?

I'd love to see just how far behind they are in processing each category, see where their priorities are, but either no reporter is asking or they refuse to answer.

I think this could have a huge impact as the State ramps up enforcement - the data they will be operating on could be so out of date that it's useless as factual information. (Just one more area for lawyers to get rich on.)

MMJ Center/small caregiver/patient - how will State know who has how many patients legally? Arrest 'em all and let the lawyers sort it out will probably be the practice in places like North Metro. Anyone think they'll wait to get full/reasonably current information before starting enforcement and money collection?

I don't know how typical I am (probably not very - I'm a Nam Vet, not a kid) but I've sent CDPHE the following: original papers, 2 Nov 09; Change of caregiver forms on 31 Nov 09, when I realized the place I got Drs recc signed me on without asking/explaining and found someone else; 12 Dec 09 when my new caregiver told me he couldn't keep his grow (leo issues); 2 Mar 10 when I finally gave up looking for a caregiver I liked/trusted and changed to "NONE". (I sent certified cy of changes to each affected "caregiver" each time)

I got my actual Red Card on 4/19 good for one year, it reflects original dispensary owner as caregiver. Will I get a new Card with each change to the Registry? Or some sort of acknowledgment? Has anyone who submitted a change of caregiver form since say September 09 gotten acceptance from the Registry?

The bureaucratic growth required in this bill is mind-boggling. IMHO this is designed to create some "licenses to print money" for the big money boys and set up targets for leo, sort of a high-stakes gamble on when legalization will occur. That's a formula for getting Romer elected Denver Mayor ($ + LEO). Kinda pleases, kinda pisses off both sides, modern democracy in action, representing only big money/big govt.

mechanism for caregivers to limit their patientsI have 20 patients. Most of them signed up after December 09 when I decided to accept patients other than my wife. Some of them were change of caregiver. Only two of them have received licenses. Originally Posted by starter09 Originally Posted by starter09
