real growers never use any pesticides or anything it's not needed if you know what you're doing. any legit medical dispensary is gonna check out the grow operation first and verify quality. the cops/dea make up the lie that there's dangerous weed
Many mass-production outdoor growers in fact DO use pesticides; you're correct though, the dispensary would want to do everything it possibly could to verify that the weed is not chemically impure.

This brings up an intriguing point: should the growers who sell their weed to dispensaries be required to test/pay for testing for impurities? it's a quality control issue, really- food factories do very heavy quality control (analysis for bacteria, spoilage, and other chemical contaminants) before they sell them to grocery stores- I've never heard of a grocery store doing quality control unless they have a wave of bad products come in that cause an issue.

Should it be the growers or the dispensaries or the customers who should pay for quality control testing?
Purple Banana Reviewed by Purple Banana on . Marijuana should be tested for chemicals! All dispensaries should have a fraction of their medication tested with a certification about its safety and potency for all patients to choose what they want to put in their bodies. It is in the light of safety that we see a need in this developing field of apothecary pharmacies for quality control to protect the end user from harmful chemicals all too liberally applied to ward off bugs and disease. Fertilizers, pesticides and blooming agents are popular to increase yield size, but safety Rating: 5
