Many mass-production outdoor growers in fact DO use pesticides; you're correct though, the dispensary would want to do everything it possibly could to verify that the weed is not chemically impure.

This brings up an intriguing point: should the growers who sell their weed to dispensaries be required to test/pay for testing for impurities? it's a quality control issue, really- food factories do very heavy quality control (analysis for bacteria, spoilage, and other chemical contaminants) before they sell them to grocery stores- I've never heard of a grocery store doing quality control unless they have a wave of bad products come in that cause an issue.

Should it be the growers or the dispensaries or the customers who should pay for quality control testing?
