The irony is that at least 1 molotov cocktail hurler used a beer bottle. This kind of story simply makes me sad on so many levels!

its hard to undo 80 years of propaganda and lies, especially those who have low iq's and believe whole heartedly what the dea says. why just a couple of years ago it caused testicular cancer, today it burns holes in your lungs, before that it caused mental disorders... how backwoods do you have to be to believe this crap. if that were even remotely true half the planet would be walking around in circles talking to themselves in inane rants while bobbing their heads up and down carrying gigantic nutsacks filled with cancer and slowly suffocating and coughing up blood. sounds more like tobacco and alcohol to me.

Well...are the arsonists against MMJ or dispensaries?
There is a difference, right?
I know people who don't mind MMJ but aren't happy with dispensaries at least not ones that strut themselves in front of everyone. I know the oldest dispensary here in Colorado use to not even have a sign out. Unless you knew where & what it was, you would just think it was just another medical office.

If we could give any advice to another state it should be to regulate your dispensaries (much less harshly) on the front end. Make them harder to open and ban huge neon signs! Maybe ban signs altogether.. But I truly think if the dispensaries were a little more discrete here in Denver we may not be where we're at with the legislation!!

I love the places which look the most in-you-face about this, but I have to admit that it would be significantly more successful if less of these places looked like head shops.
I think some areas have banned signs. I want to say Littleton but when I went there everyone had signs...but I swear I saw someone's website that was all, "we're still here! We just can't have a sign on our door!" and I frowned a lot cuz I missed getting a pic with the signage.

Like Warren, I don't really agree with the big ol lit green pot leaf in the window. I do, however, find it a interesting sign (if you will) of the times. lol!:thumbsup::thumbsup::jointsmile:
Oh and oddly enough while I may not agree with them...I don't think they should be banned, either! I have very real, First Amendment, issues with that.

I much prefer the more stealthy places, but that might just come from my love of afterhour bars. Those are always stealthy. Too bad there's not that many here in Denver. Head out to DC, Baltimore, or Philly and there are some afterhour bars that have been around since Prohibition! Same with Portland, Seattle, and San Fran (well maybe not since Prohibition), but there's a bunch.
