Great film maker...I had the honor to work with a cameraman named Bruce Logan, CSA, Kubrick sent out all these b team camera man around the world to shoot desert shots for 2001, he sent them to africa, california and other areas...and they all came back empty handed, he was real pissed, he hated to fly and never flew...so he had his assistant check out the local film schools for ideas....new and fresh ones..
He saw Bruce Logans film reel and flipped, He said get this guy and ask him where he shot this desert seen...Bruce at the time was only 16, and was awarded the b team shot ..he shot the bone turning into a space ship....his credit are listed...He would tell me many things about kubrick.....over a few joints....bruce was considered a boy wonder in the film world..he older now and is still shooting .
he went on to shoot TRON and many other features...I have had the honor of working with him for a long time an still remain good friends.....

naluman Reviewed by naluman on . Anyone a Kubrick fan in here? Being the movie buff that I am, I love Stanley Kubrick films (Except for Eyes Wide Shut!) I just think everyone of them has something in them that just keeps you mesmerized. My favorite would HAVE to be Clockwork Orange. It is the strangest movie I have ever seen, but it also carries a lot of questions along with it in it's strange plot. 2001: A Space Odyssey is THE BEST movie to watch when you're high. The best part is when the astronaut is flying through infinity near the end of the film. If Rating: 5
