How are my Chances?
Gunna try n keep this pretty simple. i've always been interested in growing and therefore have done PLENTY of reading but this is my first actual attempt at growing. I started germinating my seeds on may 1st and they are now 10 days old and growing rapidly.i am currently growing them in my closet. i have a simple grow lamp ( cant be more specific) and a desk fan on then constantly. they are in basic growing soil w/o any added nutrients and on 24 hour sunlight. Also, i am growing them in 5 gallon buckets. THE CATCH is that i can only grow them in my closet until they start to smell and then i am going to move them to a plot of land i have cleared in a nearby field. I live in the midwest and i know that we do not start to get 12/12 until september and then the first frost is usually late october. (last year it was the 26th) not much time for flowering. THIS FIRST ATTEMPT IS MEANT TO BE MORE OF A LEARNING EXPERIENCE. However, i was wondering what you guys think the odds are of me actually getting anything out of my first grow. Thanks for any replys.

How are my Chances?
Yea, it'll produce something. I have some dandelions in my yard. Do I think they will flower?? Probably, unless I kill them.
It is literally THAT simple. If the environment, people, insects or animals don't get it. You COULD get a HUGE crop.

How are my Chances?
My first grow was an absolute cluster f***k. It was a dirt grow and listening to all the other idiots didnt help. This site has turned my grow around.Ask questions, do searches in the area you need help. I've found that doing a search helps alot and doesnt piss people off for the same question asked over and over as new growers sign on. As for our grow season here in mi. I've never had any problems. I planted outside last thursday. THE CHEESE!!!!!! You'll do fine.Read up on soil amendments and hole size. I've made the mistake with not making a big enough hole and with the clay in the area I think I actually became root bound in the outdoors.??? I found that digging a hole larger than thought needed did wonders. Dont forget to support your local companies. Ionic nutes out of lansing. Keep us posted:thumbsup:
Last post was today. You should have put up a mi. section. you guys suck.

How are my Chances?
My plants have been in the ground for about 2 1/2 weeks now. They've grown a ton but the first week i put them outside some of the leaves started to get pale and turn whiteish and dry up. We concluded that it was due to the shock of direct sunlight for the first time. Its 2 weeks later and those leaves have turned yellow and died at the bottom of the plant but the top looks great. The only thing that bothers me is that once the leaves get bigger, they seem to dry and get crinkley. i know its not from underwatering (which would be my guess) because it has rained every 3 days for the last few weeks. They are still in direct sunlight and i haven't started nutes yet. they are 5.5 weeks old now. Thanks in advance for any responses.
