Possible Swab Test

I live in the state of Arizona and I have applied for a job at a local grocery store. Most grocery stores here in this state do a pre-employment drug test, a saliva test. Now I have looked into Wikipedia about drug test's and there is a decent sized chart that gives you the generalization of how long all types of drugs will usually stay in your system for and about how long the drug stays in your system to be read by each type of drug test.

Now on Wikipedia it states:

Cannabis - Blood/Oral Fluid = 2â??3 days, up to 2 weeks in heavy users.

Now these are all the days that I have smoked.

April 21st, 23rd, 24th and the 30th
May 1st, 8th and 9th

Before the 21st of April I haven't smoked in a total of 8 months. Now mind you that when I started smoking again I didn't start off with the lows or mids I started with the highs. Usually about 1 or 2 hits each smoke session and about how many times I took a hit in all of those nights separately I couldn't tell you. Also I am not a heavy smoker!

Now I do know that an oral test is not as accurate as a urine or hair test so I'm not entirely worried at all, I haven't even been called in for an interview but I have called 4 times already in the past couple of weeks and I'm suppose to talk to the hiring manager and every time I call she is not available. Either way I'm working on it!

Correct me if I'm wrong but I do believe an oral test is suppose to work by gathering dead skin cells of the mouth that the marijuana smoke has touched and also gathering an amount of saliva because THC is stored into the body and some how makes it's way into the saliva glands?

Basically I would like to know about how long I have to wait before I can call them back so I know when I can come down there and do this swab test IF they do ask me to come down for an interview (which basically tells me I have the job) and in the mean time what can I do to cleans my mouth of these dead skin cells that have THC attached to them by the smoke?

Most saliva tests go back 24-48 hours. Being that you last smoked on the 9th, you should be clean for a test tomorrow if necessary. We usually try to get people to abstain 3-4 days before test time. Make sure to brush your teeth, gums, tongue, and cheeks thoroughly before the test.
