Although my patients have had very good results treating IBS with cannabis, its important NOT to leave GERD untreated.

Untreated GERD can lead to some serious medical problems and are best treated with medications such as H2-blockers (Zantac, Pepcid) or Proton Pump Inhibitors (PPIs). These drugs help to reduce the acid which is the primary problem. Definitely see your doctor for the GERD.
