Mother stressHey question for you guys with mothers. Will stress funk up my mothers offspring even though I got them back good condition? I have 6 mothers that were attacked by thrips very bad(almost thought I lost them) but now looks good. Will that stress of almost dying have advirse affects on the off-spring? cigarettes42 Reviewed by cigarettes42 on . Mother stress Hey question for you guys with mothers. Mother stressI don't know if this is of any help, but due to space limitations I tend to keep my genetics going with very small plants. I keep them stunted, root-bound and starved. When I desire to run some clones, I re-pot and let them do their thing for a few weeks. I've never had a problem with a clone taken using this method. Even though the moms get quite stressed while in "storage", they bounce back, seemingly unaffected, and give me healthy, happy clones. Originally Posted by cigarettes42 Originally Posted by cigarettes42

Mother stressI agree with EC. As long as mom is in good shape when cuttings are taken, you should have no problems with the clones.
