alright so i have some finished pictures for you guys.
1 weeks of drying. 2 weeks of curing in jars

I got a total of 20 ounces off of two plants.


The last picture is some of the bubble hash i made from the clippings.
I also got 13 grams of bubble hash from the clippings.


20 ounces and a half an ounce of hash is going to last me and my family a whiille. I still have one more monster to cut down, so i have maybe 8 more ounces on the way.


The smoke is very fruity with a hint of sour grapes at the end. Use a grape wrap to roll a blunt and its a real treat:thumbsup: Its kind of a soft smoke and caughing is rare even with a big bong toke.

Aroma is amazing and its the first thing people notice when they smoke it. Very sweet, fruity, and a slight smell of cheesecake. When smoked, the smell is kind of like cat piss and kind of skunky,


Potency is great despite it being a purple strain. Its a creeping stone that takes 10 minutes to fully take effect. It makes me kind of anxious, and the sativa influence really fries my brain.

As soon as i took them out of the flowering room that fell over. The stems were so hard from the Silica I gave them that I have to use wire cutters to cut the stems, scissors just wont cut it.

Silica is just awesome stuff. I've got bone shears that couldn't cut through the stems of my plants once you add silica!

just weighed the other plant dry today and Had a 15 ounces total. I had two of my biggest coals fall victim to mold so i am postitive i would have gotten a pound off of this single plant.


the First plant i Harvested was 103 grams.

the two purple plants gave me 561 grams.

This last plant gave me 421 grams.

2.5 pounds total dry weight.
thats total of 1085 grams from 1250 watts of flowering light. That first plant yielded like shit or else i would have surpassed my "gram per watt" goals.

whats up Dru.... Been awhile.... I have been out of a camera and my net was down for a few weeks. You got a really nice yield off those 2 plants.:thumbsup: I have the same set up... Of course you already know this, but WOW! I have 8 plants so I am hoping for around 4 1/4 Lbs. I will hopefully have a camera Monday so I can post some new pics.

But my question here is.... What method did you use to cure?

That purple strain is an epic yielder for sure. I cant remember ever seeing bigger purple buds than that. Shes a keeper!

I cut each big stem off and hang it upside down for 8 days. I keep a fan in there to circulate air and I keep them in the complete darkness. When the out leaf stems snap off, i throw them in jars.(not the big inner stem, i dont like them that dry) I take the lid off 3 times a day for 10 mintues and move all of the nugs around. Now over the next couple of weeks your going to notice a drastic increase of the smell, taste, and bag appeal of the bud. 2 weeks is usually good enough, but the longer you cure it the better its gunna taste and smell.

Now the Grow bible says you should wait until the stems snap until you toss them in the jars. I find that method makes my bud too dry.

I'll second that:thumbsup: I usually hang about 5 then they get cut off the large stems and into an open jar for a couple days. Then I'll start the sealing and opening. I like the texture that comes out if you get them to dry out slowly, almost like the bud rips when you break into a nugget.
