    T.H.Seeds in Boulder! Which shop?

    OK I saw someone post about this yesterday... some shop in Boulder is now offering T.H.Seeds! It's nice to finally have something around other than TGA/Subcool Not that those are bad, but bigger selection is always better!

    Anyone know which shop(s) has these?

    Also, anyone have any thoughts on T.H.Seeds strains? Here's what I pulled off the TH Seeds website... not sure if these are all carried locally:

    * s.a.g.e.
    * chocolate chunk
    * mendocino madness
    * heavy duty fruity
    * bubblegum
    * skunk xxx
    * the hog
    * mk-ultra
    * sage 'n sour
    * kushage
    * burmese kush
    * zero-gravity
    * pg-13
    * da purps
    * a-train
    * wreckage
    * Lambo
    * darkstar

    Well, with the current climate and laws it might not be bad idea to pick up a pack or two!! Selection and variety available at remaining dispensaries may not be what it is now! Hell, I've always like nicely grown SAGE. Heard it's a bit finicky to grow, but might not be a bad idea to pick some up. Anyone else enjoy any THSeeds strains?

    That explains all the SAGE everywhere.

    I have grown quite a bit of SAGE and I havent noticed it being finicky whatsoever, actually its the easiest plant I've grown, yields excellent, good appeal and is very strong. The only drawback is people now are so much into smell and taste some are turned off by it. Some people love it and some hate it so I think this will be my last grow of it.

    I also grew some Burmese Kush and Kushage. The Burmese takes a lot longer to flower than advertised (at least 10 - 11 weeks) and the Kushage grew excellent but didnt have the punch as the SAGE. If I was to grow any other TH strains it would be the Sage N Sour, but I have to say I've come to the conclusion that TH Seeds does not have stable phenos at all.

    Derek, one of the co-owners of In Harmony Wellness in Windsor said he would be carrying THSeeds on the John Doe Radio podcast this week.

    Not sure if he is doing it already or will be a future thing. Call em.

    Cool, thanks. I don't think they're available yet, or they just recently have become available... but I know what you're saying about the SAGE around Boulder and the mountains up there.

    Yeah, I was thinking Sage N Sour and SAGE. Haven't tried the Sage N Sour but saw some pics on another forum that looked really nice!

    The SAGE has been here for a real long time, since the strain was introduced to the public...

    Actually, all the SAGE being here has nothing to do with THSeeds being here in Colorado.....I went to Amsterdam in 2003 and bought a pack of SAGE seeds, grew them out in Ft Collins and Boulder, and picked the current phenotype that is going around all of Colorado.....I must have given it to 15-20 people just after the first harvest in 2003,....after the second harvest I gave it to another 20 people and everyone I gave it to said they gave it to multiple people.... and so on and so on.

    Unfortunately, I'd say that about 50% of the people currently growing it haven't a clue as to what they are doing, and get these small, spindly nuggets, that don't even yield very well. Personally, the SAGE is one of the best yielders I have ever seen in my life and has been known to kick down over 3lbs per 1000w light on MANY occasions.....2.5 is about average among my friends.
    The key(s) is lots of supercropping in veg, lots of topping, lots of bending, lots of pinching, get it wider than it is tall, and then flip it under a SCROG...Also, you gotta give it lots off runoff and lots of air flow (as with any strain)....I water my 5 gallon soil buckets with 3 gallons of water or food every watering....Also, lots of people who use dirt aren't letting their soil dry completely out before they water again....That shit should be bone dry.....If not, you are gonna cause a lack of oxygen in the roots, and cause root rot, making it hard for your plants to take anything up, and creating tiny little buds, but of good quality......If you really ever wanna get the yields that you hear people talking about in dirt (2-3 lbs per light), you HAVE to have serious runoff, serious airflow, very wide plants, and utilize a screen, especially for long flowering strains.....and again, let that dirt get so dry that it's almost to the point of wilting before you water it...
    I could go on forever, and when I tell people about these yields on certain strains in dirt, in the scrog, alot of people think I am lying to them.....I just promise that I have no reason to lie to anyone, especially some people online who I don't even know.....I am just trying to (A) Spread some of the information I have obtained over the years and (B) hoping to see more SAGE that is truly representative of the strain and the way it was meant to be grown.....Call that selfish, but it's the alternative to hoarding a strain, which is a practice that I am not fond of, but can see in today's current market why people are doing it......Sometimes I wish I'd never given this strain to anyone and had it exclusively, but I really prefer to share and let everyone enjoy something that I enjoy.

    Hope some of this helped someone somewhere.

    Peace

    Cool, thanks for the info bro!

    I've seen some really great SAGE up in the mountains.. particularly Rollinsville. I forgot where they said it was grown... Eldo?

    But I've also seen horrible crappy SAGE that looked like it was grown under CFLs. I'd love to get that cut, but I think I'll just have to go through my pack of seeds!!

    Sounds like we have similar training techniques.... quite a few strains will hit the 3 lbs / 1000W mark... of course not all, but many. :thumbsup:

    The SAGE going around now is good, but around 2000-2002 a buddy grew some in a greenhouse that was amazing. Not as heavy a yielder as yours, but incredible smell / taste... I think others could start SAGE seeds and get a completely different pheno that what's available now...
