You did what!?
Great People of this Forum,
I walked into two plants about 2 weeks ago and know nothing of gardening. I've done some reading in these weeks to help bring me up to par but something has happened to day that scared me. 1cup tiger bloom to 1 gallon water between 3 plants, one being smaller 9". Now these babies aren't mine but I have been caring for them to "help out" around the crib and learn has much has I can since I just moved to MT. Anyway someone came over w/ experience and to us to flower today and then applied the fertilizer.
When I came in I missed him by 1hr I then probably over watered them by throwing a gallon between to somewhat flush some out. I stopped and did more research, got scared came here. This soil had nothing that my guy knows about absolutely no fertilizer. The plants have been very healthy (to me) and just started showing super faints of possible nitrogen deficiency. 3-4 leaves in the middle of the plants showing burnt tips and a few droopy tips.
My question is this: Did this guy eff the soil and what to look out for in the next few days and what to do if I see anything?
Should we flower today?
Sorry for the Grammar,
Chuck

1 cup of tiger bloom per 1 gallon of water???????? Sounds like you overfertalized to me. I use of that stuff 2-3 tsps per gallon when my plants are in HEAVY flower.
The slight yellowing is probably caused by a slight overfertalization. DO NOT FERTALIZE AGAIN TO TRY AND CORRECT A DEFIENCY. Flush them with plain water(and/or with a flushing solution if you have one) for a week and see if they get a little better.
It would probably be smart to get a tester and find out your PH. That could also be a possible cause. A low ph causes certain nutrients to not get absorbed efficiently, thus causing a defiency while there are still nitrogen and other nutrients present in your medium. keep it at 6.5-7 and you should be safe.

Ok how much can one flush in a day and what then might happen to the soil at the bottom? Its running out so I would think I nedd to pack it down maybe?...Still searching.
Also I didn't do it but "grew" to love these plants in the last weeks.

Yeah dude, they are goners. Unless you just run them under pH'd water for like 30 minutes.
That guy fucked them UP man.

I would flush with plain water as well, usually 2-3x the volume of your container. So if you have them in 2 gallon containers flush with 5 or 6 gals of plain water. Then the waiting game begins. You will have to give them a little time to recover from whatever nutrient damage has been done, and a few days to recover from the heavy flush. Make sure not to water again until the medium is dry. If you keep watering normally after your flush you can starve the roots of oxygen and compound your problems.
Keep an eye on any emerging new growth. Chances are anything that's fried won't come back, but new growth should go back to green and lush if it works out.
Chalk this one up to learning my friend. Best of luck, and I hope they do recover for you.
