NO! I'm not saying that. I'm saying I'm worried about the amount of people who will get into it whether or not they "should." The allure of money is pretty strong in this economy.

Accidents happen. People who arn't trained in setting up a proper MMJ grow WILL cause fires and loss of life. It's going to happen.

Give this to the people who know what they're doing and have the money to do it properly. Let them set up industrial grows where everything around the grow can be tightly controlled like fire suppression, security, ect. Attic grows will ONLY lead to a drastic increase in structure fires throughout Colorado just like in Mendocino County California. Then, they'd come back and say "see? We told you we needed to more tightly regulate this...look at all the fires!"

The fact that 100k people will need a caregiver will lead to a 20k person caregiver force growing meds in, on, and around their home...it will lead to fires.

That is my only point.
You may be right but turkey deep fryers and Christmas trees cause more home fires than growers. There are always mishaps with everything, including the dumb ass who smokes while filling his lawn mower with gas but that is no reason for the politicians to tell me I can no longer grow my or any one else meds, that thinking is absolute unfair, a better reg would be something like this "Should a structure fire be deemed caused by in proper grow set up then the one setting it up should be responsible and liable," do not punish the exp. ones that can not afford large warehouse ops, hell if I got paid for all the meds I give away I would be able to set up the 50,000 warehouse grow. but I choose kindness and helping those who can not help themselves with herb over the top dollar heartless, greedy mentality. I guess what I am saying is do not punish the mass for what one or two idiots might cause. PEACE
