I want to try some other dispensaries - have question
Thanks Releaf and New Options.
@Releaf, I've been wanting to stop by as you are located close to the disp I currently frequent, nice photos on your site bty.
@ New Options, Holy $hit you guys were robbed last year, I hope you got everything back from LE after it was over. Also, I was considering getting a mail order Iolite but didn't want a paper trail and here you offer them for the same price - I love cash transactions!

Thanks Lampost,
I pulled my Sharpie out a little while ago.
I kind of dig the black bar look, like on a censored government document! :tin foil hat:

Thai,
You sir have got yourself some good ass courage and social skills. I think I saw you post once that you served (can't remember what branch), but hat's off to you on standing up like that.
My current disp scans everything, so I'm not sure I could get such a clean purge, but I'm not worried about them. They seem earnest, caring and trustworthy.
I'm just a little bored with their selection and pricing at times.

Yeah would be more difficult if they had scanned it in. Luckily these were shady places. Shouldn't of even gone in, in the first place.
The reams of paperwork a lot of places make you fill out is a little insane. Mostly it's just the dispensary owner(s) worried about covering their asses - which I can totally understand. But still think some of it is overkill and probably isn't going to hold up in court anyway. As we have seen, the DEA could really give a sh*t if you have paperwork or not.
Yeah served for just under 10yrs. Started off as an airborne crypto-linguist, did combat control for a bit, later switched up & did network security.

I hear you about the CYA paperwork mentality, it does seem a bit much and has uncertain (unproven?) value if any sort of legal trouble arises for a disp.
In my field (construction) it's all about the paperwork - and most of it is BS too, because if someone fvcks up and somebody gets hurt, a piece of paper with a sig is not going to mean a crap to a judge if it's proven that someone did not do their job correctly. But i digress.
BTY, I'm from the brat side of the service. My dad did 25 army artillery and then retired, although he is still in a "defense" job - helping to make shit that kills people.

But I also want to round it up from places that seem legit but I just don't plan on ever going back. I know all these dispensaries make you sign some questionable paperwork that basically says you're assigning them as your primary caregiver... but when you ask the dispensary about it they swear up and down that it's just a "temporary" caregiver and to make it official you have to send it in to the state. However, YOU KNOW that if they got popped that they're going to have the other perspective and say that you did sign them over as your primary caregiver.
On all my paperwork I'd always just write in a little asterisk and say "NOTE: Assigning as temporary caregiver only, not assigning as official caregiver formally through the state" or something to that effect. No dispensary ever had a problem with my "clarification" and then about about a month ago, I think it was Grasshopper Dispensary on 17th, wouldn't accept my paperwork like that and made me cross out my handwritten note and initial. It frustrated me because that's how he just explained it to me and then he had a problem with me reiterating it in the paperwork and signing it. Oh well...
But I do love the idea of going out and corraling some of my paperwork. I'm sure it's not an issue to most people, but I tried tons of places just once with no intention of ever going back. They don't need my paperwork anymore and I'd feel better getting it back so I might go on a mission soon!
