Okay guys, as most of you know, I'm passionate. I'm also want to help put together what would be, in the beginning at least, a small group of DEDICATED individuals who want to help PEACEFULLY  defend our state's Constitution from the perversion that it is about to experience at the hands of 6 misguided individuals.
All I'm asking is for you to commit to ONE meeting. Miss what you gotta miss, do what you gotta do. This means a LOT to you all, or you wouldn't be here. Why wouldn't you be interested in ONE meeting? Are people THAT lazy or scared? Then we REALLY are fucked. But I don't believe that. I believe that we all have greatness in us, and this will not require greatness, just effort. We have Righteousness on our side.
Like that saying goes, "It would be foolish to think that a small group of dedicated individuals cannot change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has".

Steve, what your trying to do is admirable and I was wondering if you considered using a programm like skype or even ventrillo to help organize people.
With life in general, health issues, and the fact that this forum does not give us the opportunity to communicate easily having one of these free programs could help confrence calls. If we can all atleast have a back and forth conversation, perhaps, just perhaps, we could become organized.
Just a thought.

I'm in!
Steve, I've tried contacting you through the forum to no avail.
Send me your contact info through reputation. I contacted you using the same. Check your User CP up top!
I can't give you more rep points/contact you again because it tells me I have to spread the points around.

It would be nice if we don't get caught up in the small stuff but all agree that it is a bad bill that should not be rushed through for the sake of regulation. But should be defeated and lets go back to the drawing board now that we are all a bit wiser on all sides and can come up with good regulation for the industry.

I would suggest a PayPal account setup for donations. Disps can be contacted directly and maybe post ads so caregivers and patients are notified and have an opportunity to contribute.
I think some publications would be willing to donate advertising space for the cause as well?
IMO, it'll come down to money. The more on hand, the better the chances to successfully challenge the bill.

Yes, CM, talk to Corry about setting up a legal defense fund to protect members of an association to include patients, caregivers, dispensaries and edible mfgrs. if members get arrested, or for injunctions to prevent closers, constitutional objections, etc. it assures there's an atty available to defend / support us.

Wouldn't this increase our chances on having the whole bill ruled unconstitutional? I think the real chance we have is fighting this in court, as there are unconstitutional parts in the bill. I think Corry needs to have a meeting with all the caregivers and try to get something done with our help.
