This is my first attempt so I'm sure that I will end up doing somethings ass backwards! The area I am venting out is only going to end up being around 200 cubic feet but odor control is a big big thing for me. I plan on running the duct work up into my attic and having attached to my stink pipe up and out to the highest point of the house. It's going to be going through about 40 feet of ducting so that's why I went with more CFM's. Yeah I figured I would be looking at a big filter but that's okay I want no odor. The inline fan I purchased does have a speed control built into it :thumbsup: So basically what I am gathering here is the bigger/more/expensive filter is the way to go no short stepping this one ?

I'm looking for a carbon filter for my 8" inline exhaust fan which put's out 675 CFM's but I'm not sure what kind of carbon filter rating I should be looking at? I found some priced at $150 that says 240 CFM's Then another set $200 for 750 CFM's For $50.00 I'm sure the 750 CFM's is probably the way to go ? But why? Any advice would be great. Rating: 5
