It should say on the box, the N-P-K, like im using 15-20-15. But yeah id give what it says. Then give water. If the ferts looked like they made the plant happy, green, healthy and all give more. Just watch your plants grow man, its important to see what they do and how it happens, which by reading in here will give you that. Keep your area clear and keep giving the ferts, with water in between. If it rains give ferts. Just keep pushing the plant and if it gets burnt a bit, just back off for a bit. It will recover so add the ferts as much as ya can, but plan water in between in less it rains, if so more ferts.

Does the box of mg nutes include that lil green spoon thingy??.. Well all i did was fill the big end of the spoon only 1/4th full for my first feeding with it then when it came time feed again and i had not seen any nute burn i just repeated what i did the first time. And the feeding after that i bumped it up to 1/2 strength then if there is no nute burn i feed at 1/2 strength once moren Now finally the next feeding i was filling the big end of the spoon up full and thats what i feed them now. Just make sure to water with just plain water between feedings.

well its not just after its really like right before it rains or like if it has been raining and it stops for a lil while but its supposed to rain again that afternoon or night you can give it a strong feeding of nutes and when it rains it will not be so strong and the plant will shoot up

Hey I'm new to this forum, and I'm new to growing. This is my first attempt at growing cannabis, and I had originally believed that it was a simple process (it's a weed, right?) that would pretty much guide itself. I'm now discovering that may not be the case though...
I am doing an outdoor grow, though I have the plants in containers of potting soil (miracle grow with extended nutrient release, supposedly really good for flowering plants). I have four plants, all about five weeks old. They have four tiers of branches each. They are each a little over a foot tall. I have not added any additional nutrients/fertilizers.
I have several questions, as my instinct tells me that it's approaching time to do SOMETHING, though it's escaping me what that could be. Should I top them or prune them? Should I begin adding nutrients? I've noticed some reddening on the stems, and the leaves on the bottom branches are a bit yellow, and the tips of those leaves are brown. However, the new growth looks very healthy.
By the way, I don't know the strains. They are quality seeds, as I smoked the buds they came from.
Searching the grow FAQs is proving to be...difficult. If anyone could give me just some basic pointers or let me know if I'm on the right track that would be much appreciated.
Thanks guys
