First real grow (outdoors)

whats up yall?
im new to the site and im just getting into growing my own primarily because ive always been interested in farming and nature and how things grow and all that. Plus im a huge grass smoker so why not try to save some $?

i just planted 5 already germinated seeds all in biodegradable starter cups. once they get big enough im going to plant them outdoors. before transplanting them ive just been setting the cups out in the backyard in the sun for the whole day and bringing them in at night.

im pretty basic with this right now but im beginning to learn more about lighting and indoor growing so i can maybe start that up later on.

i got an idea from someone i was talking to about growing, they told me when i transplant outside you take a 2 liter bottle and cut the bottom and plug that into the ground over the plant and it creates a greenhouse effect. plus that would protect it from animals and the elements and whatnot.

so my one question would be is that going to work? ^

yeah i have told a frw ppl about this method just make sure ya take the top off tha bottle and dont push tha bottle to deep in tha ground no more than and inch hell really it just needs to be where it cant get blown over oh and you might want to put some holes in tha sides of tha bottle just so it can get more air i have not but tha hole in tha bottles but i think it would do better hell try it out on one and dont put hole in another one and see which one does better man good luck :thumbsup:
