A few basic questions... first grow

I'm starting a grow in a couple weeks when i move into my new place, and I want to cover all the possibilities before i buy seeds, lights, ect.

1) I intend on growing 2 plants total, caught between power-plant and northern lights. How bad are these two plants going to stink up the house? They will be in my closet in my room appx. 30 feet from the living room.

2) Would the plants be able to reach maturity and flower within the closet space? I have two 400 watt MH bulbs and ballasts left over from a fish tank I had when i was younger. I planned on using one of them.

3) I live in GA, I know that seed banks ship to my address, but is this not an easy way to let the cops know you're growing? I have never talked to anyone who has ordered from a seed bank, and have no experience myself.

Sorry, i know these are dumb questions. i have been a "connoisseur" for a while but have always dealt with the middle man, i've never even seen a complete set-up in person. ANY imput would be greatly appreciated

The closet is 4'x6'. I'm debating moving the grow to another location... More room and less chance of the wrong people finding it, but I'd have to drive 45 minutes one way to get to it every day... I might have to hold off another year or so until I start growing... I really want to but the more I think about it it may not be the smart decision.

Thats plenty of room for 2 plants.

If security and stealth are going to be an issue, likely best to wait. If you're going to have to find time to drive 45 minutes to the growsite...every day...from now on, perhaps it's best to give it some more thought, as that would get old quick. If you are growing in someone else's house behind their back...definatelly wait. We have rules that explain further, located HERE.

In the mean time, read till your eyes bleed. Keep in mind that not all nutrient companies have the cannabis gardener's best interest in mind when they develop another 'miracle' additive or tea. They have your wallet in mind.

Doing an advanced CanCom search for Grow Logs covering the strain you are interested in, is a good way to look for info. Find and follow a few that peak your interest, and ask questions if confused. Some strains grow tall and thin, some grow short and squat. You'll get the idea soon enough.
